Baby shopping is overwhelming at the best of times. The options are endless, the prices are eye-watering, and everyone has an opinion about what you actually need.
Prime Day cuts through all of that. For four days — June 23 to 26 — the things on your list get genuinely cheaper. Not fake-cheaper. Actually cheaper.
I’ve done this twice now.
Here’s my approach:
Have your list ready before it starts. Prime Day rewards the prepared. If you’re still building your baby registry, do it now — this week — so you know exactly what you’re looking for when deals drop. The best ones sell out fast.
Baby essentials move quickly. Car seats, monitors, feeding gear, sleep accessories — these are the categories where Prime Day discounts are real and the savings matter. We’re talking about items that cost serious money at full price.
Don’t forget yourself. Mom wellness, postpartum recovery, self-care basics — these go on sale too. You are allowed to put yourself on the list.
Set deal alerts. The Amazon app lets you track specific items and notifies you when the price drops. Use it. Prime Day drops new deals every few hours and the good ones disappear.
I’m not here to tell you what to buy. You know your family better than anyone. But I am here to tell you that this four-day window is the one time the math genuinely works in your favour — and it only comes once a year.
