Homemade Pizza with Veggie Toppings - Kid-Friendly Meals

Ingredients:

– 1 whole wheat pizza crust
– 1 cup tomato sauce
– 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
– Assorted veggie toppings (e.g., bell peppers, spinach, cherry tomatoes, mushrooms, onions)
– Optional: cooked chicken or turkey, pineapple chunks, olives, or herbs for extra flavor

Instructions:

1. Preheat your oven to 450°F (232°C).

2. Roll out the whole wheat pizza crust on a lightly floured surface until it reaches your desired thickness.

3. Transfer the crust to a baking sheet or pizza stone.

4. Spread a generous layer of tomato sauce over the crust, leaving a small border around the edges.

5. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the sauce.

6. Set out a variety of veggie toppings in separate bowls and let your toddlers add their favorites to their pizzas.

7. If desired, add any additional toppings like cooked chicken, pineapple, or olives.

8. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the crust is golden.

9. Allow the pizza to cool for a few minutes before slicing it into wedges.

10. Serve warm and enjoy the smiles as your kids dig into their personalized creations!
