Ingredients:

– 1 large organic apple (or more, depending on servings)
– 2-4 tablespoons of your favorite nut butter (almond or peanut)
– Optional toppings: raisins, granola, or a sprinkle of cinnamon

Instructions:

1. Start by washing the apple thoroughly and drying it with a clean towel.

2. Cut the apple into thin slices, about 1/4 inch thick. You can remove the core if desired or use a corer before slicing.

3. Spread a generous layer of nut butter on one side of each apple slice.

4. If you’re using any optional toppings, sprinkle them on top of the nut butter for added flavor and texture.

5. Top each slice with another apple slice to create a sandwich.

6. For added fun, use cookie cutters to cut the apple sandwiches into different shapes.

7. Serve immediately or pack them in an airtight container for a snack on the go!
